The "2024 Renewables International Conference on Renewable Energy" will be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province from May 17-19, 2024. This conference is hosted by South China Normal University, organized by the editorial department of the journal Renewables of the Chinese Chemical Society and the Guangzhou Industrial Park Chamber of Commerce.

The purpose of this conference is to respond to the major national demand for "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", focusing on the theme of "energy catalytic conversion under the dual carbon background", exploring the current hot research topics and future development trends in the field of advanced energy and catalytic conversion, and showcasing the latest research progress and achievements in the field of energy chemistry at home and abroad. The conference has set up 9 themes and 1 featured forum, including sub forums on next-generation lithium sodium batteries, solid-state batteries, computing and characterization, CO2 and N2 catalytic conversion, aqueous batteries, flow batteries, hydrogen energy, photocatalysis, biomass energy, and renewables youth forums, with over 350 sub forum presentations.
