The LIB-PT cell is one type of in-situ Lithium-ion-battery cells for detecting the internal pressures. The in-situ cell uses a high-precision pressure sensor and controllers to detect the internal pressure of batteries. The detection accuracy of this in-situ cell can be up to 0.2 mbar. Meanwhile, the in-situ cell can also be designed to another operando cell to realize the online detection of the gas component inside the lithium ion battery, which connected with the mass spectrometers. 

Main features

1. The in-situ cell is designed for internal pressure detection, which is based on the basic principle of lithium-ion or other rechargeable batteries;

2. During the charging-discharging process, the internal pressure of the battery can be detected online to study the internal pressure source of the battery;

3. After modification, the in-situ cell also can be applied to lithium-air battery test for the internal air pressure testing;

4. Equipped with high-precision gas pressure sensor and controller, pressure test range: 0-2.1bar, accuracy: 0.5%;

5. The in-situ cell is made of 316L stainless steel, which has a high corrosion resistance;

6. The in-situ cell has a well internal pressure environment, which is applied to the electrode with good adjustable and uniformity;;

7. Fluorine gaskets are used to seal all the cell, making sure the overall system sealing;

8. In the assembly process, the electrode materials and electrolyte can be easily assembled; meanwhile, all components can also be easily disassembled and cleaned.

9. The in-situ cell can be reused.
